Engineering Internship

We believe in giving future engineers and technologists the opportunity to experience real-world challenges on advance insulation materials and components.

This year we have the pleasure hosting engineering student Matthias from Zimbabwe in our program.

His session with us ends this week, and over the internship duration he was able to participate in many impactful technical work including running finite element analysis on inorganic insulation part profiles.

We are grateful to have played a role in his professional development and wishes him many success in the future.

UKM Talk on SOFC

Not many is aware that a small company like ours in Malaysia have been providing materials and high performance insulation parts for use in SoFCs for more than a decade.

Hydrogen will be the future and it presents a potential forward for the world to shift towards carbon-free energy.

Highly grateful for the opportunity provided by Fuel Cell Institute of UKM, for inviting me to give a talk on our expertise with Mica insulation for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells.

MARII Operational Excellence Program

I am excited to announce on the completion of our fabrication department's turnaround program with MARII. We're now primed to take on more production of insulation components crucial for advancing frontier technologies, particularly in the realm of clean new energy.

Many thanks to MARII and their exceptional trainer, En. Hisham, for their unwavering support throughout 3 months program. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in guiding us through the intricacies of this transformative journey.

IET Tech Talk on Mica Materials

We had the exciting opportunity to present a talk on Mica and hosted a plant tour for professional members of the IET Malaysia Local Network today. A big shout out to IET Malaysia's leadership, David Joon Huang Chuah and Eur. Ing. Fauzan Baharudin, for making this possible and enabling it to be successful!!

EV Battery Fire Protection with Mica technical symposium

Having local capability to produce and re engineer Li-ion REESS will give Malaysia a competitive edge over its regional peers. We spoke at EVM Asia '23 sharing my experience on concepts and designs from development phase onward with the use of mica in EV battery packs for fire protection. The event provided opportunity for me to engage with many industry leaders and institutions in the EV sector…. All of them having high aspiration to achieve excellence in this arena

Talk on Mica Insulation in Fire Resistant Cable at Petronas Carigali together with Olympic Cable Malaysia

Cogebi Asia recently had the opportunity to present a technical talk on Mica materials to Petronas Carigali of Malaysia.

During this presentation, we shared our experience on the unique properties of Mica, its uses in the manufacturing of fire-resistant cable, and its importance in helping to ensure the cable's integrity in the event of fire.

We are happy to have been part of this conversation and is excited to continue exploring the possibilities with Mica Insulation.
